Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 2026

Our commitment

Breatheasy EHR™ is committed to making this website and the product we are building usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or captioning. We aim to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the technical standard referenced by the Department of Justice web accessibility rule for state and local government entities, which many of our customers are subject to.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with a single, meaningful heading structure on every page.
  • Visible focus indicators and a working skip-to-content link.
  • Full keyboard operation, with no keyboard traps.
  • Color contrast that meets AA ratios for text and interface controls.
  • Labels, error messages, and instructions programmatically tied to form fields.
  • Text alternatives for images, and decorative images hidden from assistive tech.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
  • Layouts that reflow to 320 pixels wide and support 200 percent zoom.

In the product

Accessibility is a requirement in the product itself, not just the marketing site. The patient portal, clinician workspace, and administrative tools are all being built to the same standard, including the forms your practice builds for patients.
