Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a pre-launch marketing site. We collect the contact details you choose to give us on the early-access form, plus anonymous, cookie-free counts of which pages get visited. We do not sell or rent your information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies for analytics or marketing.

Information you give us

When you submit the early-access form we store your name, email address, and any optional details you provide: role, practice name, specialty, practice size, current EHR, and your description of what frustrates you about your current system. We use that information to contact you about Breatheasy EHR™, to prioritize what we build, and to invite you into the private beta.

Please do not submit protected health information (PHI) or any patient identifiers through this website. This site is not a covered clinical system and is not intended to receive PHI.

Information collected automatically

We record a minimal, anonymous record of each page view: the page path, the timestamp, the referring website's domain, a general device category (desktop, tablet, or mobile), and a one-way hash that rotates every day. The hash is generated from your IP address and browser type, which are never stored. It lets us estimate unique visitors for a single day and becomes meaningless the next day.

Because we set no cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking, this site does not require a cookie consent banner. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function and to protect forms against abuse.

Email

If you join the list, you will receive occasional updates about product progress, beta availability, and launch. Every message includes a working unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address, and we honor opt-out requests promptly, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. We never use deceptive subject lines or sender information. You may also unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@breatheasy.net.

Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to host this website, store form submissions, and deliver email. They process data on our instructions only and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email hello@breatheasy.net and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of states with privacy statutes, including California, have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone.

Security and retention

Form submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to people who need it. We keep early-access records until you ask us to remove them or until the program ends, whichever comes first. Anonymous visit records are retained for up to 24 months in aggregate form.

Children

This site is intended for healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
